Tides of Madness is a card drafting game – a sequel to Tides of Time. Players attempt to collect sets of cards to build up their kingdom while denying those sets from your opponent – in Tides of Madness however, players must deal with accumulating insanity tokens as they collect the most powerful cards.

Having a high insanity count will give bonus victory points at the end of each of the game’s three rounds, but having too much madness will cause you to lose the game.
